This project showcases the development of a full-scale logistics and shipment management platform built to simulate real-world shipping operations. The goal was to create a fast, scalable, and modern system that combines a clean user interface with a powerful backend. The platform allows users to track shipments in real time, while administrators can manage, update, and control shipment data through a structured backend system.
THE GOAL
The objective was to build a logistics platform that:
- Provides real-time shipment tracking
- Allows full backend control of shipment data
- Delivers a modern, high-converting user interface
- Demonstrates scalability and real-world usability
- Integrates AI-assisted development workflows
MY APPROACH
I built this platform using a modern full-stack approach focused on performance, scalability, and user experience. The frontend was developed using Next.js and styled with Tailwind CSS to ensure a fast, responsive, and clean UI. Framer Motion was used to add smooth, modern animations that enhance user interaction without affecting performance. On the backend, Supabase was used to handle data storage, authentication, and real-time updates. This allowed for efficient management of shipment data and seamless tracking functionality. The application was then deployed on Vercel for optimal speed, reliability, and global performance.
FEATURES
- Real-time shipment tracking system
- Admin dashboard for managing shipments
- Dynamic tracking ID system
- Clean and modern UI design
- Fully responsive across all devices
